Four months ago, I lost my dad. It was unexpected and every day since, I've missed him more and more. Today is the first Father's Day without him and it sucks.
But, this post isn't about me. It's about you. It's about those of you out there with kids and who's father is still with us.
Do me a huge favor today and help me honor my dad.
When you see your father or call him on the phone, tell him you love him. Share a couple memories with him that you're fond of or that will make you laugh your ass off. I ask this of you because that's what I would have done today if my dad was still with us.
Secondly, if you have kids, laugh with them today. My dad was always telling jokes and was always the life of the party. I try to be that dad for my kids every single day.
So, to those of you who are fathers, Happy Father's Day. Cherish every single day with your dad and/or kids because time is merciless.
Enjoy it while you got it.
