Samsung is pushing their "Next Big Thing" theme in a partnership with Foursquare through something called the Time Machine.

The #BostonShake: Having Fun at Work

No, this is not a post about the Harlem Shake. It's a post about how much fun I get to have at work. ​

We are a creative bunch. We pay attention to online trends. Lately, the Harlem Shake has been one of those trends we've been following.​

We've been yapping about potentially doing one of our own Harlem Shakes. After a quick brainstorm -- and I mean like :30 seconds quick -- we decided to mash up the Harlem Shake with a flashmob. ​

Content marketing is all the rage these days. It's the reason why you see a lot "five reasons to", "35 resources you might have missed" type of posts. I don't like them. However, I'm fond of simple writing and sharing of ideas that's digestible for those of you that read my blog. So I figured I'd put together a quick content marketing for dummies post that may or may not be useful. 

Kids, Dogs and Poop Make a Social Media Winner

There is no explanation as to why videos go viral. They are either funny, dramatic, unbelievable or all of the above. What goes viral and what doesn't cannot be predicted. In fact, you can "make" viral videos. It has to happen naturally. 

Take this video on Mashable, for example. It has to do with a little kid, a dog and poop. Yes, you read that right. Poop.

Then check the speed at which the video caught the attention of readers.
