Career opportunities are presented when you create them

Over the past year, I've realized one important thing about business: career opportunities present themselves as often as you create them. 

I've come to that realization due to the past three years being full of some ups and some downs. At the end of the day, it has all evened out.  

Today I was named Vice President & Director of Digital Integration at my agency. I'm honored that the leadership team at SA has entrusted me with this responsibility. I'm humbled by the praise I receive from my colleagues. It's a fantastic opportunity and I love it. 

Admittedly, the opportunity wasn't there when I joined the agency. I worked hard and nurtured the opportunity into reality. 

Some people wait for their chance. Not me. 

As the saying goes, "Time waits for no one."
