Happy birthday #DaisyMartelli

Two years ago, I wanted a new truck. The wife and kids wanted a puppy. I ended up with a 2014 Honda Pilot Touring and the family ended up with a White German Shepherd. Truth be told, I wanted the puppy too and I'm glad we have Daisy in our lives. She's a big, loud, protective, yet loving and loyal puppy. She turned two today and it's been quite the ride. 

I had a couple of people I know recently have to put down their family dogs. It's horrible. I'm dreading the day when I have to break it to the kids. It'll be a disaster. I know it. But, in the meantime, I'm sure we'll have 10+ years of fun, memories, cuddles, long walks, playing catch and all other types of dog / owner memories that will make it tough to part ways (hopefully, not for a long time). 

So, while I hate the fact that you have ruined our couch and window frame, you're a good pup. Happy birthday. Now, go fetch me a beer.
