I've been pretty down on Mashable lately. I feel that the content is a bit watered down. The top 10, how to, three reason type posts are too frequent for me and those drive me nuts. They are just SEO-ed crap.
However, this piece about the NFL and social media is pretty interesting. I'd say that out of all industries, professional athletics has truly benefitted from social media -- especially the players in terms of building a personal brand.
