I went to the Patriots game yesterday and lost my iPhone. My world has come crashing down and Armageddon is right around the corner.
Well, the first half of that statement is true. Yes, I did lose my iPhone (iPhone 4 to be exact). I'm devastated to say the least. It's the device I always have with me for email, pictures, video, etc. Am I worried that someone will get my data? Nope. I have it locked down with a password and the real sensitive stuff is in another application that also has a password.
Can someone still use it? Yes. They can "restore" the device in iTunes and use it to their hearts content -- which is the part that really pisses me off.
My disdain for politics is well-known (at least by my friends and those that read this blog). My feelings toward the folks that run the City of Revere are also pretty well documented. To cut to the chase, read the post where I tell the powers that be to STFU and get back to work.
So you can imagine my disgust when I read this article from the Revere Journal.
The Readers Digest version goes like a little something like this: an unnamed source says that one of the mayoral candidates tried to get the cops to arrest another candidate for drunk driving -- actually, catch them in the act, then having them arrested.
The person being accused is George Rotondo. In my STFU post, I mentioned that he has been the only politician I've talked to that gave me the impression that he actually cared about the issues that are important to me:

The summer is tee’d up for parents, i.e. an open invitation to do whatever you want with the kids — day trips, vacations, pool time, beach fun, backyard grilling sessions, bike riding, etc. It’s the time of the year that you really get to enjoy your family because it’s an active time.
