Thank the Black Eyed Peas for the Worst Super Bowl Half Time Show Ever

Blackeyedpeas

The Black Eyed Peas were the "entertainment" during the 45th Super Bowl and as a result, it was THE worst half time show ever. The song selection was a bad montage of their hits with a sprinkling of a Guns and Roses nod and a glimpse of Usher (did he sing at all?). I understand the NFL trying to be contemporary, but there are plenty of other "hot" artists on the charts at this very moment that could have delivered a much more riveting "performance" than the Black Eyed Peas.

Of course, we don't want any more 50+ year old rockers, but how about Kings of Leon? Coldplay? Bruno Mars? Or, how about Katy Perry?

The NFL is a great product but if they want their Super Bowl half time shows to generate buzz (positive) they need to go back to the drawing board (or at least check out iTunes to see who's trending for cryin' out loud).
