Today, the iconic brand of iTunes, the monster Apple music service that is linked to killing actual CD sales, was put to rest.
According to Steve Jobs, more digital music will be sold next year overall, than CDs. Ever. As a result, the cool dudes at apple thought it was time to put the old CD logo to rest.
However, when one thing dies, another is born. In this case, the new iTunes (10) logo is a simple round blue icon with black music notes in the middle.
It's a simple change from one icon to another, but it signifies the issues the music industry has been facing for 10+ years now.
